Meat Dishes
Rina said that
she was going to talk about meat dishes. She introduced hamburger steak. She talked
about history, how to cook, and application.
First, she
talked about history of hamburger. She said that the origin of the hamburger
steak was said to be the steak tartare that was popular with workers in the
German port city of Hamburg around the 18th century. In addition she said that the Tatars also ate the
horses they took during the expedition. However, this meat was very hard and
stiff, so it was devised to make it easier to eat. They chopped raw meat into
small pieces and, seasoned with spices such as onions and pepper. This meat
cooking method, which was introduced to Germany, became the form of a hamburger
that we know, which contains minced beef and pork, spices, onions, and breadcrumbs.
Second, she
talked about how to cook hamburger steak. She said that mixed minced meat,
stir-fried onions, breadcrumbs, eggs and milk and seasoned with salt and
pepper. After mixing well, shape it to the size of a palm and bake it well. Finally,
put ketchup and sauce on it and it's done.
Third, she talked
about hamburger. Hamburgers are said to be an application of hamburger steak. She said that it was said that the origin of hamburger was
put on the market sandwiched the hamburger steak as a hamburger with round
bread at the venue of the St. Louis World Exposition held in the United States
in 1904.
In conclusion,
she introduced about hamburger steak. There were some things I learned from
hearing her speech. I wanted to know about the history of other foods and
dishes.
